Sorry, I'm new to the forums and the Fit.. hello!

What does GD3 stand for?

chassis code of the 1.5l 01-08 honda fits. 09's are ge8.
GD1 = 1.3L FF wagon
GD2 = 1.3L 4WD wagon
GD3 = 1.5L FF wagon (USDM model, but not exclusively USDM)
GD4 = 1.5L 4WD wagon
GD5 = 1.2L FF wagon (UK/Europe only?)
GD6 = 1.3L FF sedan
GD7 = 1.3L 4WD sedan
GD8 = 1.5L FF sedan
GD9 = 1.5L 4WD sedan

take a look at the VIN number and you might see number letter combination rather familiar.

it looks like the jdm version. the only differance is under the car and the transmission.

uhh.. i don't think our fits considered "wagon" by the length and width it is in the "hatchback" list.

That, my friend, was my second question when I joined FitFreak. My first was 'What does NHBP stand for?' I honestly thought it meant "New Honda, Bad Paint"... :rofl:
