Clicking noise

i get the clicking noise too, it doesn't really bother me because i just let my car idle and the problem is gone.

mee too.. .most pronounced if I'm parked in a downhill slope. Put it in gear.. roll 5 feet and Whap! So violent I can feel it thru the shifter. Concerns me but its been doing it for 15 months and 17k with no issues... Umm..

That doesn't really sound like the same thing. I also hear the click the OP is talking about and it doesn't happen 5 feet after rolling forward, it makes it immediately upon shifting to D. Maybe you should get that checked out?

Every american car I've owned has been great. My 02 volkswagen? piece of crap..........

American cars suck.

And to keep my post relevant, no I haven't experienced any clicking.
