do you have a garage for your Fit?

I was wondering how many people are lucky enough to keep your Fit in a garage? Do garages make a big difference in the longevity of the car (eg. lower rust formation)?

If you don't have a garage have you done anything else to approximate a garage (eg. use a car cover)? How has this alternative worked for you?

I park mine in the garage and when I drive it to work I park it in the shop. I`ve had my FiT almost 8 months and never driven it in the rain, I haven`t had to wash it yet.

Not yet, but I will have one in just over a month. Do you think the Fit will be lonely in my 3 car garage with just bikes for vehicular company?

My Fit has a garage space, but it was stolen by its big brother, a 1940 Cadillac series 62 coupe. In another 137 years when i am finished resto-modding the Caddy the Fit might get the spot back again. In the meantime, I have applied 77 layers of wax to the Fit

I don't have a garage, but a covered parking space.

When we shopped for a house 20+ years ago, we picked a two car garage with an attached house! Room for a Fit, Odyssey, motorcycle and other stuff.

I have a reserved parking spot in the company parking garage.

My car sits in the sun all day everyday. I DO NOT park her under trees to prevent sap problems.
I dont have a cover either. :-/

People with the OEM Honda cover, does it repel rain? Does it stop is 100% or no?

my FitS is parked 24/7 out doors. i dont think there's really any benefit to a
garage for dd's other than you can keep your car away from the elements
(including thuds) at night and the convenience of getting in/out on a rainy
day without getting wet. no need to scrape snow off in the winter, etc.

No garage and no cover. I park under trees sometimes. It doesn't bother me, it still looks sexy when it's washed and waxed up.

I keep my R1150GS Adventure, my FJ40 Land Cruiser, the wifes CRV, and all the kids bikes, mini bikes , riding mowers ect in the garage.
My Fit stays outside with the F250.

My two-car garage is home to the Fit, Supercab F250 with camper, three motorcycles, a bicycle, and a kayak. I will let you guess which ones are hanging from the ceiling.

I would keep it in a garage if I had one. Renting a basement suite does not allow such a luxury.
