all season mats man, if your going to get all season floor mats, get the hexomat floor mat, whats good about it that if water seeps from your shoes, the hexigonal shapes would trap it, therefore it woudnt slide around n such (water) This is what makes it special compared to the other all season floor mats Hexomat Floor Mats

my favorite are berber mats... but you have to have them custom made and pricy.
that's wat i run on my hobby cars. www.autosportscatalog.com has them.
next is regular OE carpet mats, but they then to stain easily.. and i tend to burn
a hole where my heel rests by the clutch pedal.
i dont really prefer it, but most durable so i use the OE a/s floor mats. i dont like
a/s matts cause foot prints show easily... and they remind me too much of
snow boots. and i hate snow.

Weathertech has some new AS mats for the fit that are reported to provide better protection. I haven't seen them but here's a thread from other fitfreakers -

I was contimplating the OEM Floor Mats but after seeing what happens to the floor mats after 10 years, I decided to buy the All Season OEM Floor Mats! What a difference!!!

Just to throw another variable into this discussion, What about wearing dress shoes, as I do every day, in snowy states? 
I have the carpeted mats ,and they hold the snow and ice melt and then dry out with the heater on the drive home. This pulls the moisture away from the right heel that is always in contact with the mat. I drive 75 Miles each way so I have plenty of time to dry the mat.
With the all weather mats are your heels always in a pool of sludge and salt water along with you pant leg? Or do the groves in the mat hold the water down below the contact area until it evaporates?

The Honda salesman at the dealership actually recommended Weathertech mats. If you look on their site, they don't list the 09 Fit, but say to contact for other makes/models. We contacted them and they said they had no plans in the next 6 months to make any for the 09 Fit because we were the only ones interested. *Sad*
