2009 Sport - AT or MT for conservative highway driving?

I've gotten good MPG with an AT at conservative highway speeds. One time when I was following a friend on the highway and driving the speed limit (60 mph), I noticed my scangauge average trip economy go up fairly quick.

Even when I'm going around 70, I've gotten mid-30s on road trips, but even that depends on other conditions, such as temperature and wind speed.

Also, you gotta remember there is slightly more rolling resistance from the tires of the sport model. I read that somewhere....
