Help selecting floor mats for 2009 Fit

I have no experience with All-Season floor mats. I have a manual shift Honda Civic currently and have the Honda OEM carpet mats. I have been happy with them for the most part, but they have presented two problems: 1. after years of use, there is a hole in the mat where my heel rests to work the accelerator. 2.) in the winter, the mats get soaked and it seems an All-Season would be superior in the winter.

AutoSport sells WeatherTech Extreme Duty FloorLiners which look pretty good to me. But I have no experience with how these work or how they'd compare to the Honda OEM All-Seasons.

Considering that mats aren't cheap, can I get advice and experiences on which ones I should get? I'll pay more money if it will get me better performing mats.

Are there any negatives to All-Season mats over Carpeted? I like the carpeted a lot save the winter and hole problems I mentioned above--will All-Season mats solve these problems and work as good as the carpeted mats in other respects?

Here are my options:

1. Honda OEM All-Season mats for the winter/Honda OEM carpet mats for the summer.

2. Honda OEM All-Season mats year round.

3. WeatherTech Extreme Duty FloorLiners for the winter/Honda OEM carpet mats for the summer.

4. WeatherTech Extreme Duty FloorLiners year round.

I'm trying to decide whether to get the All-Season or Carpeted mats.

I've always had carpeted before. But I'd be interested in hearing how the All-Season compare to the Carpeted. I prefer to only buy one version.

You are in Michigan. You have snow, mud, rain, dirt. Get all-weather extremes.

Get the all season. No muddy smell in the car after rain/humid day. Easy to clean too.

I voted for the oem all season because the mats i have are not included. If you want, check out auto anything.com the hexo all season floor mats hold a lot of water and are a perfect fit.

I have carpet mats in my '02 Accord, and the driver's side is worn badly. Because the overall carpet in the Fit is so thin, I'd go with some version of the all-season mats. These rubber ones were part of my sale; once the driver's side is secured by the 2 locks, no movement occurs at all when you drive. In the Chicago area, these all-season mats make great sense....

Is there any reason to get the carpeted? Are they primarily for folks who live in year round nice weather--like California?

Since the overall carpet on the Fit is so thin to begin with, I would not invest in carpet mats -- especially if weather is a variable. I must keep reminding myself that this is the base Honda: it's not a BMW; thus, all-season mats are the way to go....

I just bought a Fit Sport two days ago and stumbled across this thread while searching for deals on All-Season mats. We California folks can spend a lot of time at the beach, and the sand and salt water take a toll on carpet, so there really is only one option for me.

My 07 had the all weather and I loved them. Take them out, wash them off, and replace. My new Fit has the carpeted ones. I expect I will be replacing them soon.

I have the all seasons and they are nice.

The carpet ones start to look crappy after a while.

especially on snowbelt states get the allseason floor mats.

wash them in spring, and give it a nice coat of Prima Nero(50% dilluted with water)
and air dry. no need to wipe. nice matte finish.
