Rear Ended

Rear Ended
So, a woman rear ended me last night. She claimed that it was because of the slippery roads.
My girl and I were in the car and we are both fine. The rear bumper has a screw divot from the license plate of the other car. Honestly, I couldn't have asked her to hit my car any better than she did. It was right on the bumper support frame.
So, what should I do in terms of a new bumper? I figure, I'm not gonna report it and get her to pay for the new bumper. She'll save about $1500 in surcharges that way and I'll get a new bumper. I was thinking about the INGS rear bumper.

just send her the quote for the ings bumper, paint, and install and get
her credit card number.
then it's all good, i suppose if you're really not hurt.
just wait about a week cause whiplash can take a few days to really get
to ya.

True about the whiplash.
Now, should I get the INGS "like" bumper or the actually INGS? I was just thinking about the faux bumper but I am wondering about the (for lack of a better term) "fit"ment.

As soon as we called them they claimed it was not their fault and wanted us to pay for their damages! We called the police and they said it was her word against theirs and there was nothing we could do. We ended up paying 1400 out of pocket to get it fixed.
Point is some people will lie so they don't have to pay. A rear end accident is always the rear drivers fault though. Good luck.
