Has anyone seen anyone fit a cvt transmission in a usdm fit?

 

According to info from far east friends, their CVT will not fit the US models for same reason the rear discs are difficult. The bolt patterns don't match and considerable machining is required if possible. Supposedly. But we'll keep looking cause that is the solution for our third gear overgearing.
Still angry for Honda not including in the US models. Ditto rear discs but I changed that.
