Thanks for the photos - mine are bigger than that! If you use photobucket or flickr or any of those sites to upload your photos onto, they have a resize option too.

The color looks great. I don't want the rear seats lighted but I think yours looks good. So your lights are on all the time if the car is running? Or just when your lights are on? I think I only want the lights on when the door is open, but not sure at this point. Maybe it would be cool to have them on while running.

Yup, they're on when the car is on, but there's a switch where you can turn them off if you want, and there are also various light settings (brightness level, fade functions, and blinking to music).

Oh, I like the idea of brightness settings! Where did you put the switch?

oh my god, those look really cool totomark. I need to do this on my car. If i was going to do this and put them under the dash and steering wheel where do i wire them too? (I am a real noob with electrical stuff, and cars in general)

Do you need to solder the wires or can they just be plugged in, and if they can be plugged in somewhere, where is the best place? thanks

Actually, i just found this cig lighter input you can buy with spliced wires (link is below). Could i wire the spliced LED wires to the spliced wires from the cig input? Im thinking if it works it will be a lot less of a hassel to do.

Okay but you don't get the beer until the install is all done!

I'm not sure what it's called, but I put the switch like... under the steering wheel, all the way to the left, underneath where the fuse box is. No need for soldering or anything, you just kinda plug it in there. If you want I could show you how, make a vid or something, or show you a pic of where the switch is at.

Keep us posted

I am not new to the this forum, just recently registered. However keep us posted on your progress. I just bought a new 2012 Honda Fit and I want to install Blue LED footwell lights as well.

I am not sure on how to do this, or what may be the best option. Nor do I know where to purchase a decent kit.

Im pretty savy with most electrical things, however I have never attempted to do this on my car, let alone a 2 week old one!
