How many Fits did YOU see today??
#201
My brother-in-law told me that he'd seen a Fit outfitted as a TAXI! He said that he was pretty certain that it was a Fit. Well, yesterday I saw for myself a VBP Sport TAXI!!! Other than that shocker, I also saw 1 BOM, 1 SSM, 1 MR (all Sports), 1 Silver base, and two Sport models in a Honda used car lot.

Do ones on trailers count?
I saw two GE8s on a car trailer headed South on I-75 yesterday. I'm not up on the GE8 colors, so let's call them BOM and SSM. I saw an additional GE8 in SSM on the road. GD3s came in a variety of colors and styles yesterday, too, with 5 Sports and 2 Base, one BBP, one SSM, two MR, one TWB, and two VBP. Two of those were at Voss Honda near Dayton.
Edit: The cab driver that regularly carries me to/from the hotel we use in Detroit has expressed quite a bit of interest in getting a Fit for a cab. If he can get half the FE I've been getting in mine while hauling passengers, he'll cut his fuel costs by two thirds. Those old beater cop car Crown Vics are terrible on gas, especially with all the stop-and-go driving. On top of the DAILY triple-digit rental fees for the car itself, (even if you own your own car, you still have to pay the cab company for the dispatching) many cab companies require the drivers to also pay for their own fuel, so better FE equals more money in his pocket.

Yesterday, I saw 5 GD3s. There were: 3 VBP; two sports, one base. One of the Sports had HFP wheels and the chrome grille. One BOM, and one SSM Sport. I also saw a MR and a SSM GE8 yesterday.
Today, in the space of 2 minutes, I saw a BBP, a BOM, and a SSM GD3, all Sports. The first two were parked within 2 blocks of each other, and the SSM was rolling in that direction. He didn't wave back.

I spotted four SSM GD3s yesterday and only one of them was a Sport. Also spotted 1 (EA) Sport NHBP and MR and one base MR. No GE8s yesterday at all. Of course, this isn't including the VBP base and MR Sport at the dealership, or mine own MR base.

Wow, you have a lot of Fits around you!!! I live in the 4th largest city in the US and I *never* see that many in one day. Of course I also don't drive that much, so that might be a factor.

Didja snuggle up REAL close??? Heheh.
Thanks for helping out the economy. I'd rather have dental work than go shopping on Black Friday.

It was raining so I went home.
Edit:
I got talked into driving my brother to Fry's in Plano and ended up spending about $100. I guess I helped a little.

I love my Fit!
I spotted a VBP '09 Sport today and I have to admit...if I was in the market to buy - I would consider an '09...but...I am really glad I didn't wait to purchase an '08. I just can't seem to come to terms with the '09 front end. IMO the front and rear look like 2 different cars.

The Old Fit and the New Fit are 2 different cars, to me. No relation except the name.

I found out today that there is a GD3 Base SSM in my very NEIGHBORHOOD!!! You'd a thought I'd have seen it coming in or going out at some point, but no. I saw it about 5:15 p.m. so the peeps were probably coming home from work or school. Now that I know it's there, I'll watch for it more closely! There is also a MR Sport down the street a ways - I've waved at the driver in passing.
