Why do you want to trade your Fit to a Civic? I mean Civic are nice cars too and very comfortable. My mother has an '06 EX and they ride very smooth and so as my Fit. The only thing I don't like about my Fit compare to a civic is the seat, '06+ Civic seats are more comfortable

I have been thinking about this for about two weeks too...I got my 08 fit back in February and got a good deal on it...now its worth more than i bought it for..how often does that happen with a car?

So today i was getting my oil changed and it was my plan to go check out the civics....and i did, i sat in several of them, looked around, thought about my fit and the differences...i realized i like the rear seats folding down on the fit and that i use that enough times to not want to loose that capability.

I looked at a few new 09 fits, they look nice, but i dont like that the dash is not symmetric anymore.

Anyways, i went to Carmax afterward because i was going to just see what they would give me for the car and i got there at 9.45 and they dont open untill 10am. as im sitting there, thinking about the civic i was just sitting in 10min earlier, i caught my fits reflection on the glass walls of the Carmax and i realized: I like this car...its great on mileage, practicality and handles great...as i had my revelation, i popped my car in gear and left Carmax with a smile on my face.

Im glad i got that out of my system. I love my fit!

man, the civic is a downgrade. if you like your car, tell them to eff off, I mean it has sports seats pretty much, stiff, you fall into them, not as nicely as bucket seats, but hell it's a step in that direction.

If they arses don't fit in the seats, they need to go look in a mirror.

if they complain about sunroof, it's your car not theirs. If their comments or opinions matter that much, I guess trade it in for the downgraded, smaller honda civic.

Honestly, this is a bad place to talk about what others say when other threads exist about how baby our cars look, or how 'tiny' they are.

I'm happy with my Fit, why? cause it's MY car... you have your own probs... sadly they are on the forums.

Well I traded my Fit in yesterday for a 2008 Civic. The reason is I had the Fit for 2 years and 47K miles later, it looks like it is 4 years old. I used to drive 60-65 miles a day to and from work for over a year. That was a ton of miles on the Fit. Now I drive 8 miles around trip now. I traded it in for $12,300 (not bad for 47,000 miles) and got a Civic EX

I am going to drive my fit for a long long time....... I have absolutely no intentions of getting rid of it. My plan as of right now is to get a weekend car and keep the fit as my dd.

This is true, however that means aftermarket support is going to dry up in favour of the new one.

07-08 yes we do have rare cars...but not that rare...my boy has a 94 accord and he was looking for some specific parts about three years ago and only last year they started making the part that he wanted....so if there is enough intrest they will continue making a/m parts..thats just my 5cents

Screw what others say. Are you gonna change how you dress when they start commenting on your style, too?

Don't sell/trade. Loss of money. Keep it till it's kaputt.
