A&J T1R Intake...Will it INCREASE my MPG?

Hey guys,

Planning to get a A&J T1R CF intake. I have a M/T, lowered on T1R springs and running 16's. For the people who has them. Did it improve or you noticed any gains of your MPG? How much did it improve your MPG's? Thanks, Fit Freak.

the best way to increase your mpg is to drive conservatively. drive like a madman and your mpg will show it.

+1.

Lighten your gas foot. You can't purchase good fuel economy - it isn't that easy. Some things you actually have to work for.

my intake cost $50(a FRACTION of the price of the t1r), looks good, and improved my gas mileage from 33 in town to 35-36 in town. I also DID notice a difference in power regardless of the naysaying towards DIY intakes :-P

I got a T1R intake, used, at a huge discount. It seemed to improve gas mileage by 2-3 MPG. That's not why I bought it, though

+3! Driving style makes more difference than anything else. I improved my mileage by about 30% just by changing my style. However, letting the engine breathe (intake/header/exhaust) will enhance any improvements you make in driving habits.

Besides, then you can have a little fun now and then and it won't cost as much
