41.5mpg To Vegas
This Is For Real, I Have A 07 Fit Sport Auto
Lowered On Sprint Blue Springs And Running Kosei K1's (lightweight Racing Wheels) And 195/50/15 Falken Tires (320 Treadwear)
I Left Salt Lake City And Drove Down I-15 All The Way To Vegas Without Stopping For Fuel, I Did Take A Full 2 Gallon Gas Can (just In Case) But Never Needed It, I Pulled Off The Exit For The Race Track (the First Exit Labeled Las Vegas) To Watch The Sport Compact Drag Races Saturday July 12th 2008, I Drove During The Hottest Time Of Day And Ran The A/c 65-70% Of The Time On Fan Level 2 And Drove 76-79 The Whole Way (except For The Few Hills Ha Ha) Once I Arrived I Pumped 10.2 Gallons Of 87 Octane, Thats 424 Miles On 10.2gallons Of 87 Octane Fuel, Hmmm That Says 41.5 Mpg

Wow that's nice. I went from Grand Rapids, MI to Milwaukee, WI a couple of months ago around trip and able to get 38 mpg. And that is my personal best. Other than that, all my other fill-ups I average between 32-34 mpg.

Try it just for fun, on your next tank try running your car 50mph to a max of 55mph and use cruise control. You will get 40+mpg guaranteed

i don't care what anyone says..... lightweight wheels are the single best way to improve both performance and FE
if i had $500 laying around, i'd throw some 9lb 14" K1s on my base. there's nothing like dropping 10lbs of rotational mass PER CORNER.
there's a very good reason the HX/VX civics and insights have wheels that weigh <11lbs each
