Anyone know where the jumper is to check a CEL?
My Fit threw a CEL last night and I would like to check it. I could go to an autoparts store and have it checked, but I would rather just check it for myself. So, does anyone know where to find the plug?
I am about to go look for it, but in case I dont find it, I would like for someone to post up the info.

i am not talking about the big plug under the driverside dash where you would plug in the obd2 scanner.
i am talking about the small jumper plug that you would put a paper clip into to make the check engine light flash you the MIL. it is usually by the ecu, but i checked there and didnt see it.
on civics it is usually on the far passenger side, on my prelude it is on the drivers side right under the center console area. i checked under the dash on both sides, and popped out the glove box to access the ecu. i couldnt find anything other than the big obd2 scanner plug that you are talking about.

my 00 Civic Si had it on the passenger side in the same place my 92 Civic had it. i havent checked my s2000 yet to see if it has one, but i would assume that hondas still come with them.

Not true. There was one on my 2000 Si under the dashboard on the passengers side.

i didn't have time to check it. i was on my way out of town when i made the post. so, i just disconnected the battery and reset the code. it hasn't come back on yet. if it does, i'll check it properly.

I haven't tried it yet (my car hasn't had any codes). Here is a thread on the subject, though.

not really. you will have 9 long flashes, then 2 short flashes. i have to do it pretty regularly with my race car. it seems like there is always a small code for something jiggling loose around the track.
