Thumbs up Fuelly.com - Track and Compare Gas Mileage

fuelly.com opened a few weeks ago and allows users to track and compare gas mileage. I found this to be a great tracking tool!

I'm not particularly worried about my mpg but I do like to have a record of it. I use fuelfrog by texting a message to twitter from the fuel pump. Track Your Gas Mileage with FuelFrog for those interested. Fuelly might be a winner, but it reminds me of myspace, and fuelfrog is just so clean.

Cleanmpg.com

Best site for eco tips and tricks imo, and has a comprehensive log with other parameters (temp, speed, techniques used, etc).

Holy Crap Denham! You're getting good gas mileage but the price that you are paying for gas is really high compared to USA prices. How does anybody afford to drive a huge, heavy 4-wheel drive truck up there? 18 gal tank @ 10MPG = 180 mile range. At $4.39/ gallon, that's $0.24 a mile. That's almost 4 times what it's costing me to drive a Fit in Georgia.

Are you sure you're looking in US gallons? The page might be set to imperial gallons which would really make it seem amazing For anyone who doesn't know, check the very top left corner and click US, UK, or Metric.

But yes I have been very happy with the mpg I've been getting! And yeah, gas prices really suck here It's a little better once you get outside of Greater Vancouver, around $1.05/L instead of $1.20/L.

I really have no clue how people getting 10mpg deal with the prices here. A lot of people who actually live in Vancouver do very little mileage though so that must help at least!
