2009 Orange: Anyone CERTAIN It's Darker?
I saw the orange here in Florida on one of the few rainy days and it didn't look too bad but it still was too light for my tastes. After seeing it yesterday in the sunlight it looked more like a cantelope color. I would really consider an orange only if it is a DEEP COLOR so it doesn't scream. Has anyone seem the orange outside the US yet? I am trading up to the 2009.

I, too, am waiting to see this color. I just checked the Honda Web site, and only 5 exterior colors remain to configure online for the '08 Fits: black, silver, red, and the 2 blues. I was following a Honda Element today that had some version of orange; apparently it's called Tangerine Metallic. My guess is that Orange Revolution will be a brighter color. I'd prefer a richer and deeper hue myself....

I even checked the Japan site w/ a friend from there to see if we could find it, and they don't have it either... It must be a new color for Honda.
All I know is I hope it is a very bright, vivid, in your face orange. Something like the following, but a tad darker would be perfect..... to me at least... I want something that turns heads....

While it would be nice for a weekend... maybe a month, i dont think id get it rather than a fit even if i could afford to buy it... the upkeep, insurance, and gas would kill me. I think insurance would be an entire paycheck if not 2 per month.

I own an orange '07 Fit... should I put on a dress and change my name to Mary?
I'm sorry, but I just can't hold it in, so here goes. With what I have gleaned from your famous self-congratulatory posts, I can say with great confidence that the color of car you choose will not make you any more manly than you are right now. In fact, you could buy a car made of sponge (with cash, of course), soak it in testosterone and beer, and it still wouldn't make you more of a man.

Simply My Opinion
Take it for what it's worth. If you like the color of your car then why get bent over someone elses dislike of the color?
In other words "lighten up" it is simply one persons opinion of a color. I also think the Tidewater Blue also has a "chicks car" look to it, too much purple or something. Big deal. Hell even if Honda comes out with a deep orange metallic there will be people who will look at me and think "chicks car".
I Could Give A Rats Ass!.
