I hope i'm not posting out of category/line/or what have you ~ I tried looking a few pages back, but didn't see anything.

My question was about the factory radio in the 08 Fit-Sport (US). I was trying to figure out if anyone knew if the radio would display Asian character sets ? That would be - Korean/ Japanese/ Chinese etc. to make things clear.

If not, anyone have know of a reasonably priced deck that has such support?

PS: Sorry for the really obscure question. Just something that's pretty important to me

the oem fit radios dont display japanese characters when playing a cd. all that comes up are "--/?" or somthing of that nature, sucks...

 

a jdm version? There could be somethin you could change with the usdm models to display another lang. But it'd be more work than getting a jdm one. I'd assume it'd be just plug n play with the deck..possibly...hopefully.

 

Depending on the CD. Many CDs have Artist/Album/Track information that will display on the radio's, um, display. But no Asian characters (like Oddjob or Charlie Chan, for instance).

P.S. I think Lisa Ling has a lot of character.
