Difference between Jazz & Fit
#4
Thanks for the replies guys. I've read in some threads that there are minor differences like the antenna is at the side for the Fit whereas the Jazz is at the middle. There's even a signal light on the wing mirror on the Fit and not on the Jazz. Stuff like that. Wondering if there's more.

The fit is the name used in the Japanese Domestic Market and the Jazz is currently used in the rest of the world.
The vehicle comes in slightly different configurations all over the world with the largest variety being in the JDM. Top of the line Fit may have LED lights but the dozens of other model variants within the Japanese market don't. They also do a 4WD Fit only available domesticly.
Likewise with other vehicles like the Miata which is sold as an MX-5 in other markets. The Vitz which is sold as an Echo. Holden Commodores that are sold as Chevrolets in China and the Middle East and Opels in Europe. Same cars different badges in different markets.

difference between fit and jazz
Well I myself i have a Honda Fit and it has 8 start plugs but compare to jazz who only have 4 start plugs. That mean that Honda fit is more powerful than the H0NDA jazz.... Hope it does help.

The engine with 4 spark plugs is the larger one at 1.5L and has 16 valves total, with the VTEC system on board.
Power isn't measured by the number of spark plugs. The smaller engine has two spark plugs per cylinder because it's primarily an economy engine. Two spark plugs mean it can lengthen the combustion at low revs by firing sequentially.
It also has nothing to do with it being a Jazz or a Fit. Regardless of badge, both cars get both engines. The only exceptions I know of are European countries like the UK which don't get the 1.5L VTEC motor.
