Just over 30 mpg -- Sport w/ AT, still within first 2000 miles.

28

I got 28 when I first got the car. That's about 2/3rds city. I now get about 38 with a MUCH mellower approach. Going slower takes getting used to after decades of aggressive driving.

30-ish every time. I was leadfooting it for a while after I installed my intake/exhaust, and it was still right around 30... maybe 28, but it's so insignificant and I fill up only once every 3 weeks that it doesn't really matter. I've been working on changing my driving habits on this tank to see what happens, and it looks like I'll be around the 35+ range. I've been kinda slacking on the last third of the tank, though, since I find the conservation route to be really boring from a driver's perspective, but it's definitely improved.

I must really be a spirited driver, combined with the crappy traffic I have to drive in every day, because every car I have had in the last 10 years I have been working where I am now and doing this commute, I've always had much worse mileage than others with the same vehicle. We do have 10% ethanol in the gas here so that doesnt help either.

30-35 in the city,

My car has tons of mods as well and is making over 20% more power than stock; see link for detailed MPG and conditions.

i stopped caring about my Fit's mpg and decided just to enjoy the car and drive it. shifting between 4k-5.5k and i've experienced an increase in mpg

maybe 60% city and 40% highway, i'm averaging 36mpg, only going between 65-75 mph on the freeway).

If you do the math, the $ amount between 40 and 35 mpg is not that much. I'd rather spend a little extra money and drive it like I stole it.
