First off, let me start by saying 'Hi' since this is my first post. I'm new to Hondas, having been a VW guy since the dawn of time. Alas, Honda wanted my business more, so I bought a 2008 Civic SI sedan and I'm very happy. My fiance, who has never owned anything but a Honda, has a 2007 Fit, which is a fantastically functional car and loads of fun to drive.

She was driving home today when something strange happened - the cabin fan cut out (while the AC was on) and she says that a puff of 'smoke' (more likely condensed air or something) came out the vents. She turned the fan off and then turned it on again and everything was OK. Then it cut out again and wouldn't come back on.

Everything seems to be working fine now, but these kinds of issues generally don't get better in my experience. I'm guessing that there's an electrical issue at play, but I wanted to post up before she takes it to the dealership in case this is an issue others have had and there's a quick fix.
