Just Bought The Base, Hope I will Be Happy
I remember last year I bought a Tacoma and dropped 900 bucks for alloy wheels. Now if I did it over again I would have kept that grand.
I pay cash, will not finance, so when I look at the price difference between the base and sport I think that amount of cash can buy me a 24 inch Mac Computer or some other cool gizmo.
On the other hand I know the first 3-6 months I will wish I had an S but since it is a daily driver (over 30K A YEAR) I think that after awhile I won't miss the extra bells and whistles so much.
In addition I had to trade a 2007 Yaris with significant body damage and 67,000 miles and got almost 7K for it and that's damn good. The dealers with the "S" model did not want to give me anything on a damaged 67,000 mile car!
So I guess in the end I did the right thing by saving all that money BUT I CAN STILL BACK OUT! Frankly I think I am probably better off with the base. Well that's my story, ANYONE THINK I MADE THE WRONG CHOICE?

I need the car to get me from Tampa to Orlando and back and forth to work. As mentioned, we hit over 30K a year so we really drive. I was just concerned I would miss te body mouldings etc. Actually GREAT NEWS: Found a company that makes leather covers and they are the sub for Honda. The leather is tied very tightly and when complete it is almost impossible to tell that you don't have a factory leather steering wheel. That is GREAT NEWS to me!
