must have accessaries

what are some accessaries that you guys think are must have for the fit?

1. dead pedal?
2. armrest?
3. rear bumper protector?
4. cargo cover?

So long as we're talking about extra cost accessories, I'm okay with this line of thinking. I bought a $15K Honda that gets (almost) 40mpg, and I don't want that to change.

So far I've added a deadpedal, map light, upgraded the headlight and foglight bulbs, and made a custom thingy for my left elbow so that it wouldn't fall into the gargantuan hole they call a door pull (Honda must think we're all ham-fisted XL glove wearers or something).

On order is a JDM console, H-Fit short shift kit, and shift lever extender; if they don't get me hot for the shifter I'll toss a Mugen short shift kit in too. Also a Beatrush front underpanel in the hopes of improving my aerodynamics and therefore fuel economy.

After that, or maybe before, I need to do something about the high beams so I don't accidentally kiss Bambi on my nightly commute home. Progress rear sway bar sounds nice too, and I guess I'll have to make my own rear diffuser/airflow smoother thingie.

i wish the fit had:

telescoping steering wheel column, map lights, and the armrest console.

dead pedal, and armrest is a forsure.

you dont need no rear bumper protector. its pointless. meh.

uh...if anything you need a passenger visor mirror for the lady.

yup that is a #1 priority if you got a girl.

Floor mats. I don't mind not getting a TON of extras for the price but it seems kinda lame to not get at least basic mats of some kind.

* An armrest would be nice.
* Cruise controll would also be nice.
* Rear bumper protector I will put on soon, just have to repair a small scratch first
* Clear bra for the front would be nice if I can get hold of one.... Already got many chips in the paint. Some large (into the metal) and some smaller (just in the clear paint). The two large I will fix as soon as I got that touch-up paint.

* I will also make a new bike support in my car. Just need to find the right material.
* My new and just painted Mugen style grill and tail gate garnish will be attached soon. But that probaly is not a "accessory", but just styling parts?

- Dead pedal I don't need. Work fine as it is.
- Map light: I actually dont need them. I already have two lights in front just behind the mirror. One pointing to the drivers side and the other to passenger side. I thought that WAS the map lights?!?

+ Cargo cover; standard in my car...
+ Height adjustment for seat; standard in my car...
+ Vanity mirror both passenger and driver side: standard in my car...
+ I even got a rubber cargo floor mat...

some people mentioned maplight, is it an OEM or aftermarket add-on? anyone has a picture?

btw, the reason that i didn't mention floor mats is because i already bought them, hi-lo HID kit installed, tinted too

The Mods Im thinking of getting first are the all season mats and the dead pedal. Then..

~ Tint in all windows 35% (That's all I can get in Massachusetts)
~ LED Tail lights
~ Blue Trim
~ Cold Air Intake (maybe)
~ Blue Radiator Cap
~ Blue braided covers for wires
~ Blue interior lights under the steering console
~ Jazz emblem on the right back hatch

I have OEM maplights. They are seen just above the rear view mirror on this picture. You can aslo see the vanity mirrors on this image.
In top of the image you see the normal cabin light.



(PS! Does my little white Mugen Fit qualify as an accessory? )

How hard is installing the map light? I want to do this and the JDM roof console, but cutting the lining makes me nervous.

Also how did you get the auto door lock?!? I would LOVE to have that!!
