Coilovers or Springs?

Hello,

New to my Fit, I was wondering if the Fit really need a full coilover suspension set up? I am looking to lower the car and get some handling improvement as well. Please let me know since I am planning to work on suspension first before any other modifications and then some wheels since I just got my Fit yesterday. Also information on the best springs or coilovers would be perfect

thanks,

-David

if you ever plan on being able to adjust the height = coilovers
plan on keeping the stance the same = springs

i am a spring/aftermarket strut guy myself.

depends on how much your willing to spend.
$100-$200 for springs or $800-$2000 on coilovers.
springs won't give you much of handling improvement.

I had both, lowering springs and coilovers. I love my coilovers WAY better than lowering springs. I had skunk2's and now have K-sport coilovers

if you want the look, go with springs and strut bars. if you are interested in improved handling, go with coilovers and teh progress swaybar

Id say coilovers. I have lowering springs had no real plains to be changing the hight of the car. After getting some new wheels I am now wanting coilovers so I can ajust the hight of the car.

if you can find dampers for your lowering springs and your car sits
flat you dont necessarily need coilovers. but there aren't much offerings
for dampers for this car especially if USDM.

i run the EnduraTech coilovers since mine is a dd and some spirited
runs on the weekends. it's a nice package, very comfy, and car looks
great. also flattened out the rear. i have some preload from the factory.
