haha, stupid Yaris hanging out in the shadow of yet another big win for the Fit. They should do a giant recall for costmetic changes, then all Yaris's should be crushed then given back to be used as paper wieghts

I was surprised the Yaris was in that list. The Yaris sucks so bad, Consumer Reports doesn't even recommend it, despite the above-average reliability. Usually a car just has to be reliable for them to recommend it; it doesn't have to be particularly good. I think the only subcompact they have ranked lower is the Chevy (Daewoo) Aveo.

Interesting: The Fit is rated the top SubCompact, while the Cooper Mini is rated as the best Compact (followed by VW Rabbet and Ford Focus)...]

I chose the Fit over the Yaris too, but please don't act like the Fit is sooooo OMG amazingly better like we are comparing an Acura NSX to a Geo Metro here.

Please. They are both little econoboxes. The Fit has a bit of a nicer interior and better handling. The Yaris has a lower entry price but gets a bit better fuel economy and gets its peak torque at a lower RPM.

Not a huge difference guys. These are entry level grocery-getter commuter cars. Not freakin exotic luxury rides.

Don't show this site to dbzeag.

He's the guy who wrote this thread.

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/tell...-purchase.html

He might write a review on JD Power.

i agree about the mini and rabbit...but the focus? it should have been followed by the civic or 3, depending on your tastes.

I don't see him writing a review as they don't send a survey to everyone who bought a fit.

Lightbulb Fit is king!

The Fit, I believe, provides the best combination of value, appearance, quality, and performance in this category, than any other vehicle out there. The fun to drive factor, although not very powerful, is sky high. Sometimes high horsepower does not always equal fun to drive; you can have an equally good time taking this car down a twisty mountain road as any other "sports car". It's all about appreciating what you have and taking into account the inner intricacies of the vehicle. There is a lot more than meets the eye.

Not to put a bump on this thread but i agree on the article. Well said , fit is not that bad compared to yaris of toyota. there are actually several of hatchbacks that have been launched next to fit such as getz and fiesta made by ford but fit for me remains on to even for the upcoming years to come. it is just a fact that this stuff has been tested by drivers and doubt and have no doubt about the performance.
