Fit speed...How fast can you make them go?

I'd say get a Fit for a daily driver, and spend the $14000 you would have needed to get the Fit into the 13's and buy a nice used 05 or 06 Mustang GT and run low 13's all day long on street tires. Why put a K20 into it along with all the other modifications for it to work coherent with the rest of the car (brakes, suspension, tranny, etc) when you could have just bought a Civic Si and kept your warranty? Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I know. I told myself and the wife that I was not going to do anything to the Fit..... Less than a month into ownership, the windows have been tinted, Stereo system installed, Bug Bra added, Wheels on order, Lowering springs in the trunk, etc... Mostly just apperance stuff, and sound. Only thing I want to do for performance is add a Intake (mostly for improved MPG's) and if I can find a axle back exhaust that does not sound like ass, and not have a tip so big the Fit itself could fit into.

try getting a Fit to go from 20 to 65 onto a highway (from on ramp), no way you can do that in atuo nope, sports mode (thats y base sucks ), start in second gear n rev it to 5k RPM n blah blah. Its gotta be done in a 2-3 sec time span tho =\ sometimes i do it from first >.< wtf..

lol have u ever been at a light and when its green the guy behind you or next to you (that was at the light) is far behind you now? i love that feelin lol autos suck, it shifts when its safe and it controls the RPM climb rate. BLOWS! sports n stick ftw!

I think you bought the opposite end of the car spectrum for that feeling.
