Putting it in the cubby above the glovebox is a decent idea, but would require you to really take your eyes off the road to look at it, could be dangerous. I just ordered mine and am going to see what I can do about getting it in the cubby in my radio install kit.

That location looks natural and easy to use.

Alot of people say how they wouldn't want to reach through the steering wheel to push the buttons, but I have no problems with it. Especially since I don't intend to change views on the autocross.

Yep, mine is exactly as how Geoff has it. I only push buttons when I do a fillup, and it's not exactly hard to lean over and look at the indicator lights occasionally.

Hey, I saw this, and was wondering if any of you think it would work in the Fit. I like the idea a lot, and found it when looking into getting a scangauge. Tell me what you think...

I like the way it looks but where's the cable at and how well hidden is it? That might be a deal breaker.

Running the cable up there would not be too fun. Plus I am not sure that would work with our mirrors since they are not mounted to the windshield, but to the cieling. Might not be enough room. You could just velcro it to the top of the mirror for a lot cheaper if there is room.

I have mine down where the center console meets the lower part of the dash, works for me there.
