I want to mod the fit pretty bad. I'm not talking anything major. Maybe some springs and shocks. I was wondering how long you guys waited to do anything to your fit. I guess what I'm asking did you wait until the warrenty was up or did you just go ahead and mod your fit. If you just went ahead and did some work on it, did you void you warrenty or what? Also is there anything out there that i can do that won't void anything? I don't want to void anything, i'm just tired of it looking stock.

The only thing that will definitely void your warranty is any major work or going S/C'd or T/C'd.

Other than that, if you have any problems with aftermarket parts, it will only void the warranty if that aftermarket part caused that problem.

example: You install a cold-air intake. You take a puddle on and get hydrolocked. The CAI is to blame, so any repairs won't be under warranty.

example: You install lowering springs. Your stock dampers get shot or blow. That won't be under warranty.

cojaro said it perfectly... i talked to the honda tecs about it... intake and stuff shouldnt cause any issues, springs may reduce strut life, but they would wear out way after warrenty even with new springs

yeah i bought my fit, the next day it already had tint, intake, exhaust, and dropped. the next day was alignment and shit knob haha.

who cares about the little warranty stuff. i only dont void the expensive repairs.

like exhaust is super cheap. struts will be super cheap.

i brought my car into the dealer for my 02 sensor with a slammed fit, they didnt void anything heh

yes!!!!

true that, let me tell you that saved me from paying 90 dollors for the computer exam fee...and then the 02 sensor fee

i kinda sucked in water with my intake and the moisture made my cel light come on. my o2 sensor when bad. i put my stock intake back on, said i didnt know what happen. and then they replaced it.

yeah, i've had my fit since wednesday night, thus far i have lowering springs, rims and an intake.

lol, and i'm also following the drive-it-hard break in(if I want to put the pedal down I do, but i'm putting it through all the rpms and mixing my highway and city driving). things seem great so far.

an intake really does make a difference IMO.
