Hi, I'm 6.0' (34" inseam) and fit well. Could be better with a telescoping steering wheel. I sometime feel like I'm reaching.

Will I fit

I thouhgt I would give my experiance with my Fit. I am 6ft with a 34 in inseam, try driving the car for about 1/2hour. I find that my right foot is bent at a weird angle and after a 1/2 hour it my heel starts to hurt and dirivng becomes uncomfortable. Some of my taller friends at college also noticed this about the car. My adviced is test drive the car on a long distance trip or beg, borrow or rent one and drive for an hour.

My last car was a 97 civic and I loved that car, drove it for 9 years. Hope this helps.

The more i drive the Fit the more I experience things like you describe. I'm afraid I must admit that I really don't fit in the Fit. I hate the angle of my right leg and the fact that my right thigh doesn't even rest on the seat really. My right leg gets very tired even only on short drives of 25 miles home from work. If the new model gives more leg room and a telescoping wheel, wait for it tall people.

.... like I said I am 6'5" and overweight so I don't understand how you guys that are 6'1" and such are having such pains...... I have my seat pushed all the way back and 1 click back from sitting straight up and my steering wheel is pushed as far up as it will go. The only pain I ever experience is if I am driving for more than 2 hours at one time my right knee starts to hurt a little but have driven as long as 4 hours and it still wasn't that bad just a little bit of a small annoying pain and as soon as I got out of the car it was gone.

Before I got the fit I honestly had no preference to cars that I was going to get so I went with my parents from lot to lot basically seeing what cars I would fit into. The only larger sized vehicle that I sat in was a Honda Element and even then I had more leg room in a fit than an element because in an Element the center counsel was too far into my leg room area and my right leg pushed against it. But as far as small sized vehicle the fit is the only one that was very affordable had great gas mileage rating and still looked bad ass.

Ohhh I have nothing done to the interior of my nhbp fit sport a/t so as far as comfort there is nothing helping but the bone stock stuff in there. Was thinking of getting a dead pedal but where it would sit is actually not far enough back to where my foot naturally sits.

I'm 5' 11" or 6'... never know.

But I feel my legs are a bit cramped, but other than that, it's very comfortable. Compared to the older civics, my head always was against the headliners.

Smile Big & Tall in the fit

I am 6' 1" and ~240 lbs and I fit in the fit just fine. For me the Fit is better than any sedan because I need lots of head room. I have a tall torso.

Where people run into problems with the Fit is if your legs are proportionally longer than your arms. This creates a situation where moving the seat back far enough for your legs to be comfortable causes you to have to reach forward for the steering wheel.

I have this problem to a very small degree (I wish the wheel was forward an inch or two), but it doesn't really cause me any pain.

I believe the 09' fit will have a telescoping steering wheel which should resolve this issue.

The only way to know if the Fit fits you is to take a test drive.

I'm 5'-10 and wear 34-30 pants. I like to extend my legs when i drive and it's barely enough for me. So if you like to extend your legs, then your screwed.

I'm 5' 8" and I have what buddyw describes. If I go all the way back my arms are stretched out and when I come forward a bit after driving a while my legs start to get uncomfortable. Does the dead pedal help leg comfort at all?

The dead pedal helped me a lot - especially on longer trips. Before the dead pedal I couldn't find a comfortable place to put my left foot.

I got mine at www.zetaproducts.net. As far as I know, that is the only place you can get one for the fit.

It's very sturdy and well made. I highly recommend it.

I'm 6'0", and about 225. I have an odd body shape though, in that I only have about a 29" inseam. Headroom is great, but I do notice some discomfort from not being able to stretch my legs as much as I'd like. I have the dead pedal on order, so I'm hoping that will help the overall seating position.

Inseam is just as important as height. I'm 6'1, 35" inseam. Another inch of leg, and I probably wouldn't "Fit." As it is, I used some scissors and cut out some of the sound insulation under the carpet around the accelerator pedal to clear space for my size 12 shoe.

I have PLENTY of headroom though. A person who is 6'4 or 6'5, with a similar inseam would be fine. Over 35" inseam is pretty unusual anyway. Surprisingly, the Fit has no less room for a tall driver than my Element did, though the more aggressive bolstering may make someone with a broad torso uncomfortable.

And once you slide the seat all the way back and recline the seat, the ridiculous little armrest is a joke.

the only issue would be the lack of adjustment of the steering column. Otherwise, should be plenty of room.

Im 6'5" and I have sat in the drivers seat but not test driven the GE. I fit quite well, the fit seemed huge on the inside for being a compact outside its crazy.

Honda has clearly harnessed wormholes.
