HELP removing side molding... UGH
#22
Update: OK it looks like I mostly freaked out for nothing. I used Goo Gone and an old credit card and my fingernails and got the moldings off and about 98% of the glue. The last bit of residue is a b*tch. I guess I may need to go to the hair dryer for that? I live in a condo so I've got to find a convenient place to plug it in. Paint looks OK, there doesn't appear to be any damage at all.

It didn't strip mine when I screwed mine up on one side and slowly yanked them off and repositioned them.
The hardest part is prying off one end so that you can start peeling it off. You might be able to start peeling it off by yanking on it, that would be the safest way, but I couldn't get enough grip on it to do it that way. I used the softest plastic scraper that I could find so that I wouldn't damage the paint and I was very careful with it.

Try the Afta for the adhesive, that stuff works awesome. I've used it to remove glue from emblems that were on a car for 10 years, took it right off. Same thing for the adhesive on window tint, took it right off no problem.
