Door mouldings?

Am I the only one who doesn't want his doors dinged?
Any suggestions for mouldings?

Zeta products has them. Color matched also. Mine are from the Jazz and way thicker than the Zeta products.

In those pics, they look to be the same size as mine. But in pics on the forum theyre really thin.
They look identical to mine... I dont have that "Fit" logo and Im glad.

Mine are authentic Jazz door moldings. A member on here got them for me from Thailand.

The OEM's seem to be impossible to get. Try Ben from A-JRacing?
They arent that expensive. I think mine were $100-$120, NOT painted.

Theyre mounted with clips and double sided tape. Of course I didnt use the clips as Im not drill many holes in my doors. So I just loaded mine with double sided tape.

Theyre arent super-flush as theyre suppose to be but they look great to me.

BTW, these were the ones I was talking about. Thin, no emblem.

So, Zeta mouldings are thick and good? Good color match?
If so, I am ordering them.

Cant really compare them to any others, but they look just fine to me. I didnt hold them up against the car to check color match, but they do look the same color. I'd assume they use the factory paint, would be silly to sell it as matching if they didnt, but ya never know.

They look good, do they come with instructions on where to put them? ie: how high up, how far back from front of door, etc? Is there a stencil or just eye ball it?

I don't have the mouldings on either my 07 Fit or my 2000 Accord Coupe. I also don't have any door dings. I think the mouldings ruin the look of the car, and they only protect a small portion of the doors. The best bet is to park far away in the parking lot. It's good exersise and you will be in the company of others who are careful when opening their doors who also choose to park far away to protect their cars and walk instead of parking in close.

yeha but ever do that only to come out and see some moron decided to park right next to you instead of in any of the empty spots around you? Plain and simple, people are just morons that dont give a crap about anything. Present company excluded of course!!

They came with instructions and did include how high to put them. A guy at the Honda dealer put them on for me. I heard he had years of experience installing moldings.

i've actually witnessed these moldings saving my doors from being dinged, one due to a shopping cart and one due to another car door. so i pretty much swear by them at this point

and i also think they look great on the fit, it just adds a little something extra.
