Fuel Mizer ?

Has anybody used the "Fuel Mizer"? DIGITAL FUEL MIZER

Local TV news (Columbus, OH TV6) did a bit on it last night. Looks interesting, simple to use, not too expensive - but might be annoying at times.

All it does is warn you if you are accelerating or braking too rapidly for good fuel efficiency.

Check what I found out about it:

Analog Devices: iMEMSĀ® Accelerometers: MEMS and Sensors: Home

It does measure acceleration forces but that would not necessarily be a good indicator of good mpg. Every car is different and there are too many factors. Now, it may make people want to slow down and not drive like a jackass which will increase FE in that respect but if I were to buy something it would definitely be the Scan Gauge II.
