Best speed for Eco MT Fit

Best speed for Eco MT Fit
I do not have the answer, but want to toss this out to the eco champs on here.
On the MT Fit. If you could drive from A to B at any speed, what is the best speed for peak eco ie highest mpg?
For sure it's between 25 and 45, but I lack data to say what it is.
It's not like anyone can do this, just a point of interest.

ive noticed 50 miles per hour in 5th gear = 50 miles per gallon.
also, 40 miles per hour in 4th gear = 50 miles per gallon.
these were in cruise control to get an accurate *might not be the best, but accurate* reading.

mmmmmmm those speeds correlate to a 2.5k rpms(in the corresponding gears). pcs0snq, I believe, stated that optimum shifting is around 2.5K rpms.
Has anyone tested 4th and 5th gear at lower speeds and what mpg did you achieve?
not trying to thread jack

I'd say 45-50 mph is probably about the best that I've seen. My daily commute is all back roads so I hardly ever get over 60 mph. I think the SG says my average mph is below 40 mph for my 30.3 mile commute to work.

Depends if you got your throttle on VTec mode or not. Vtec mode usually send it up to 3K on 4th and 5th. Light throttling will send it back down maybe to 2K. My guess would be 40 mph as the optimal eco cruising speed because the that's probably where the fit gets the most air into the radiator without creating too much drag.
