Same here. I was $5K upside down in my IS350 and sold it for an incredible $36000 which paid it off. My payments were $800 a month (which I can afford) and my Fit payments are $350. In fact, I just got 1 10% raise and my wife got a 7% raise which calculated would have covered that $800 free and clear. I am much happier with my Fit payment which I should be able to double to tripple the payoff at times. At a certain point in your life (maybe after 30), you realize that having a hot car isn’t what its cracked up to be, especially with our economy and oil situation.

Congrats on the raise as well! While I could be in an $800-1000 loan/lease and afford it, the lack of stress from the car payment can't be ignored.
