Little knock...
I drive an 07 MT, lately there has been a very little knocking sound in first or second gear.. not constant but like when the weight of the car shifts agaist the clutch on deceleration or acceleration.
only noticeable at very low speeds such as idling in first gear through a parking lot or backing out of a parking space ex: depress clutch, shift to reverse, release clutch slowly *knock*, backup, depress clutch, shift to first, release clutch slowly *knock*, accelerate. It's not a really loud knock, and I doubt it's lugging.. this sound is somewhat recent and my driving is the same.
2nd gear sometimes does it also if I'm coming to a red light but then it turns green so I hit the gas pedal and start going again.. moments before though I would have been decelerating in gear.. probably 3rd or maybe 2nd depending on speed. I rarely coast in neutral for any length unless it's literally just a few feet to a stop/fresh red or yellow.
my first thoughts are clutch linkage/related or perhaps motor mounts or something loose in between the wheels and the engine :P
has anyone experienced this? or has an idea what it could be? this way I don't have to go to the dealership and start explaining the problem with sound effects and arm movements of me shifting gears and such.
approx 44000km on the odometer, maintenance minder schedule always followed, hoping it's just a small adjustment.

forgot to add it's still completely stock.
is the torque mount the same as a motor mount? and is it an expensive fix? thought anything related to torque wouldn't be a huge issue with the fit engine in only 44000km's heh, perhaps I should re-assess my driving habits.

Dunno what it is but I can't stand the lugging in first gear, unless I rev it to like 3.5k LUG LUG, sounds like an peon from Warcraft zug zug Actually the fit is a bit of a peon

I had a similar sound and it turned out to be the "A" frame mounting bolt. It was just very tiny bit loose but that was enough for the "A" frame to move just a bit causing the knocking sound. Tightening it up cured the sound for me.

is that part of the suspension? the only thing that comes to mind are the A shaped arms of some suspension pieces on various cars.. haven't looked under the fit yet :P otherwise drawing a blank
it's pothole season and our roads are bad before the holes appear so having a screwed up front end isn't uncommon heh.
got pics and torque specs of said mounting bolt in case I'm way off here?
