Carbon Creations is Extreme Dimensions. Can't vouch for their stuff personally now, but I've seen the older stuff and it wasn't fantastic. I heard though they've gotten a lot better. But most of this stuff is cosmetic anyway, so as long as the weave is decent and there's a decent clear coat you should be fine.

 

haha damn, you guys hate the spoon hood. i like it. the weave is smaller and it is super light.

i think vis is a better quality.

dont get the mugen hood. that thing is ugly. get the dv hood

without the extra hood vent/hump. but uh yeah the only time you need to worry about those vents are when your washing your car. and soap gets into your engine bay. but thats an easy wipe off.

HAHA Seibon is WAY better than VIS. My friend works at VIS. I have VIS CF trunk and hood on my S. The trunk fits like crap, and the weave is crap. ALOT of imperfections.

 

Agreed. Seibon is better than VIS cuz they know how to copy other people's sh*t better than anybody I know. Apparently, it's a talent VIS can't quite figure out.

Anybody know if Carbon Creations has gotten any better? Or maybe you could look into ATI (or is it AIT?) They're only one of two companies in the US that do vac. formed hoods with honeycomb cores. Might be worth a try.

 

SEIBON all the way. Great fit-ment on all the hoods I've seen!!

 

a personal opinion of mine is it really depends on the make and model of the car and the year. Seibon hoods fit great, but ive also had hoods that are just horrible as the years go by and the wear on the mold ages.
