Whats the Best Speed for mpg? AT Sport
Whats the best speed on the highway for good mileage? I tried 60mph cruise control and then 70 mph cruise control and seem to do better at 70 which seems odd. I have 3300 miles on a 2008 sport AT, commute is 95% highway 100 miles per day.

I took my new Fit on its first roadtrip (~200 miles) this past weekend and got roughly 37mpg on one stretch of highway going 80 mpg using cruise control as much as possible (134.7 miles / 3.615 gallons; calculated from fill up to next fillup to take how many gallons used). I have heard that using cruise control helps a lot as it lets the car's computer maintain the constant speed and is better on the engine.
After averaging out freeway and town the trip was roughly 32 mpg. I'm going to continue keeping track of mpg as I break the car in but so far I have been very pleased.
My previous car was a 96 geo metro AT that I drove for 11 years and it also got good milege, averaging 30 mpg, even in its old age.
