Cool 2-Fitters

So my fiance and I now both own Fits. She loved mine so much we got her one today as a replacement of her '96 Honda Civic. She tried doing the talking and haggling herself but ultimately I felt compelled to step in. We ended up getting an incredible deal on a Tidewater Blue Fit, below invoice with everything thrown in, out the door for $17,500ish. I am very proud of myself for beating the dealership. The top manager of the dealership even admitted, "Alright, you've beaten the dealership," and proceeded to tell me everything he was going to give us. At one point we were walking out the door (calling their bluff) to go to another dealership and they ran after us and caved. It was glorious! I could have sold tickets to this Fit purchase. We took all their sales approaches and angles, they even tried making us feel guilty because they were offering below invoice and supposedly losing money. Pft. The dollar amount is all we cared about.

I'll post pics of the two later...

EDIT: I put up pics in another of my threads, "New Fit Owner *squeals*." I don't feel like doing it again.

Congrats!

Though the dealership DID make money somewhere. They wouldn't have sold it to you for a loss.

My GF wants a Fit, but her parents want to get her a bare bottom Corolla. They say that if she wants a Fit then she will have to pay for it herself and I am barely making ends meet.

Bottom corollas arent that much more then fits. If she got a base they would be pretty close to the same price or atleast from what i remember about them.
