UK Jazz MPG
Hello all!
I've been driving a Honda Jazz 2003 S which is the 1.4 (1339cc) engine.
Now I was looking at the MPG figures around here which all look quite nice.
I've been checking mine recently and noticed the onboard computer tends to range from 41-45mpg which is okay I guess since we only do city driving.
I decided to do some sums though and as suspected, the real figures are always 1-5MPG lower (37-40mpg roughly).
So I thought alright, that's not too bad either.
Then I found out that US and EU have different quantities for gallons! So in US gallons, I only achieve 33mpg!
And from what I understand, the EU Jazz's are more economical than the US Fit? Yet I seem to only achieve 33 MPG US.
I decided to do some motorway driving and the onboard computer reports back 55mpg over 40 miles with speeds ranging from 65-80mph.
Does everything here sound okay?

Yeah, that's what I'm averaging too, although I'm being a slouchy driver these days.
I've never gone above 57 mpg; these days I'm having a hard time approaching 50.
Normally it's anything between 42-45 for everyday driving, 45+ if you're being economical.
i-dsi for the lose =(
