Keyless start?

Any word anywhere on whether the J-spec keyless start will make it to the US 2009 Fit?

I haven't heard anything about that yet.
Would be pretty cool though.

Well, I can hope... The Versa and SX4 both have it as an option, and Honda *has* it in Japan. It's going to be standard across the board soon on Toyota.

But I don't want those cars, I want a Fit

Well, it looks like you're right, corey415... I hear from someone who was at the show that keyless start will not be on the '09 Fit. Honda has a weird mix of being way ahead and way behind the curve, depending on the area. The only reason I say "way" behind is the lack of keyless start on their Acura line other than the RL, when it's available or standard across the board on Lexus and Infiniti... Clearly they're not opposed in principal, if the US RL and Japan's Hondas get it!
