Rubber pad pulling away from carpet

The rubber pad on the carpet at the drivers seat has 2" ripple that goes across the rubber pad. It is pulling away and the car has 3,200 miles on it.

Anyone else have this problem?

How did the dealer fix it?

If you remove your floor mats there is a rubber pad on the floor of the driver side only. That is what is pealing up.

I know that it will be covered under warranty, but has anyone had this problem and had it fixed? If so, how did they fix it?

eep, this seems annoying. do you have carpet mats in there? That would probably help it from not getting worse. My car has about 2000 miles on it and I would not be happy if this happened, but i'm thinking the mats will protect the carpet and the rubber pad. good luck!

Mine has been doing it since a few months of ownership as well. I've just learned to ignore it for the most part. If it gets really bad I'll just get some of the OEM floor mats. If it comes a good portion of the way off you could always try to reglue it or see if you can convince the dealer to replace it under warranty.

Went to the dealer and they tried to convince me that this is happening because I don't have floor mats. I quickly pointed out to them that floor mats are not "required" anywhere in the owners manual.

They offered to pull the rubber mat off and re-glue it down. They will not replace it as it comes with the capet so they would have to re-carpet the whole car.
