using 13" winter tires??
Hello everyone,
My new Fit will be here in a few days. It's pretty much the end of winter here now, so I'm planning to just run the tires that come with it for now, but for the next winter, I have a set of 175x70R13's that are practically brand new.
In terms of tire size, I used one of those tire calculators and found the difference in size is something on the order of 1.5%, which probably isn't much to worry about. However, I have no idea what the bolt pattern on the 14's are, and whether or not a 13 would even fit over the calipers/discs!
Anyone out there who might be able to offer any insight?

I am currently using snow tires/wheels from my old Civic on my Fit. They are Honda 14" steel rims. There is less than 1/4" clearance between the inner rim and the brake caliper. It is a VERY close fit. I thought I might have problems with road debris getting stuck between the caliper and rim, but it's worked well all winter.
There is no way a 13" rim will work.
