New to Fit

Whats up, I am new here on FitFreaks.net but i gotta say awesome website. I just have a one question about the Fit that i wanted to see if you guys could clear it up. First off the colors , why no white fit? Was there ever a usdm white fit or are all the white fits painted? Thats pretty much it for right now, thank you to everyone and anyone who can help clear this up

Welcome to FitFreak.
In 2007 Fit were available in Taffeta White. Currently in Canada Fits are available in TW. US discountinued the color TW for o8 and the added BBP and TWB.

Yeah - the white was discontinued for 2008 in the US but you might find a 2007 out there if you are lucky! I really belive they will bring back white in a few more years but who wants to wait that long. It is kinda of crazy to take away the white Fit because it just looks so classic

Yup the world works in mysterious ways....and Honda is no different.
They can ditch colors all they want so long they keep NBP! j/k I would love to see more white Fits. But I really want to see some yellow fits here! USDM that is.

WELCOME btw

we all know how cool the TW fit is, and how sweet the yellow is, but i'm rooting for pink

i'd never drive a pink car, but just to have the option to would make me unbelievably happy, haha.

It was strange when they pulled white out of the choices for 2008. The current colors all look smart and sharp, but there is something very classy and timeless about white. Hard to keep clean though - my last car was white, and it showed every speck of dirt.

Has anyone painted their Fit? I can't imagine doing it until much later, but I figure some are so modification minded that it could happen.

By the way, I think the Vivid Blue Pearl rules. Just throwing that out there. But honestly I would have been happy with almost any color.

I think you have that backwards, white is a very easy color to take care of. Black is the hard color to take care of, it shows all the dirt, scratches and water spots.

i too wanted to get a white one, but had to go to my 2nd choice
which was SSM. black would've been next, but my dealer had
2 Sports with 5MT in-stock at the time.

Exactly! Take it from someone who has owned and cleaned both white and black cars. Besides showing chips and scratches...black shows swirls.
Black is the nicest color by far only when it is new.

If TW wasnt offered here, my 2nd choice wouldve been BOM then VBP.

LOL I was being a smart ass. Yeah VBP is very common. If I had known how common I would have got a different color, all that aside however, I still happy with the car and have no regrets.

With regards to cleaning however, I used to have a black Integra, for how sexy black looks, after a while, it was just too much of a hassle to keep clean. You can sneeze two blocks away and the car would get some snot on it. I have a white SUV atm and that thing still looks clean after a month or so of not washing. Interior is a different story however.
