IPTUNED buying experience
#21
I'm on the phone with them right now, and I'm getting the same run around. This is my third phone call (after 2 emails) and I was just told (for the 3rd time) that it will ship today. I'm on hold as they get me a tracking number, because I'm not going to wait for them to forget to call me.

I just gave them a ring about my order and tryin to get a tracking number. They said since i ordered on saturday it wasnt shipped yet and i should get an e-mail tommorow with the tracking number.... we'll see.... if not looks like ill be callin again. This thread made me paranoid.

update
Day 11 and no package....the tracking # they sent was in purgatory for 3 days until today. The package still has not left California. So essentially, IP ran the postage and the package sat at their facilityfor a few days until it was picked up and scanned by the Postal Service. Again, I will stresss, I paid for UPS Ground in the first place and they charged my card 11 days ago.........

Free shipping = $12.91...
I got a surprise when I ordered my Skunk2 springs from iptuned.com
If you go to their website, you will see that these springs qualify for free ground shipping. It clearly states that, "This item qualifies for FREE SHIPPING!" I had the option to have my product sent at no charge if I chose, "free ground shipping 2-6 days." Since I was in no rush, I chose that "no charge" option. However, it turns out that I was eventually charged $12.91 for shipping! WFT! I spoke with Louis at iptuned and questioned this charge, but at that stage of the game, I was more concerned about just getting the product at all. My confidence with this vendor had deteriorated by this point.
In retrospect, other than the extra charge for shipping, I had no other issues with this vendor. The product arrived as promised and all inquiries that I made through e-mail were answered. Even though I was satisfied with their service, I have had better buying experiences with other vendors.

I am pretty sure all vendors suck. I ordered my stuff from JHPUSA and I have yet to get a aprt and its been months . . . Its been on back order. supposedly. And the workers that I talk to act like I know nothing except for the manager he was cool. In conclusion, all car part places offline I think tend to suck.

So i saw that my card had been charged for my order with iptuned, yet still no tracking number or anything. I called them up and said i wanted my money refunded back onto my card since i knew the package hadnt been shipped yet. He said that would be fine and id have the money back in 2-3 days. So we'll see what happens...

Thats cool. I wish it would have been that smooth for me. But anyways i had my order canceled a week ago and havent seen the money put back on the card, so i called them up yesterday and talked to Sam he said that it should be back no later than wednesday and if its not to give a call and ask for him. So hopefully itll work out.
