Something with the syncros..... I wouldnt do it.
yeah its probably not good. but when you loose sychro you will practically have to. (but I have luckily not heard of that happening on a fit yet) It sucks on older cars when that happens but believe it or not, it still very drivable just after a short getting used to.

Before my short shifter my Fit shifted smooth as hell. Only shifting "weirdos" Ive noticed was a slight pop from 1st to 2nd.
Almost like the car knew you were shifting into 2nd and almost hands the gear shift to you out of 1st.
yeah sometimes its like that (like I am using the force heheee)...but others its like it is stuck there and it gets ripped out (with full pedal depression)
(As said above.) But this is normal, I made a post about it and everyone said their cars are the same way. They just never notices it till I posted.
The shifter always had a "clicky" feel but by no means notchy.
I love the "click and thud" in this car...when its like that
Since adding the Mugen SS its a tad notchy. I like it like that, gives me some feeling.

Definately not recommended on our Fits. But anyways, back to the subject...So just the bushings work? See I didn't know that. So has anyone tried those H-Fit Shifter Hard Mount kit?
