this review was hilarious! a 200 hp civic si sedan hits 0-60 in the low sevens (depending on who is driving it). how dissapointed would they have been then?

you'd think that a website that prides themselves on being savvy on technical topics would understand the concept of a power to weight ratio. the fit is no slower or faster to 60 than the yaris or versa...and it at least rewards you with a great driving experience.

its silly to gripe on a car that is LEV 2,.....every review i have ever read on the fit usually brings up the fact that its a car that has been around since 01...and only new HERE in the states. maybe they should do their homework.

 

I only have one thing to say about it, consider the source!

 

Actually, I believe they are on the column. At any rate, F-1 cars generally have quicker steering ratios, which means that the wheel is turned less.

Read the users opinions - The car gets a much better rating by those who actually own the car instead of a geek with a day to kill.

 

What kind of car enthusiast rates the imitation-manual model? Does anyone know if more standards or auto's have been sold in the US? I can only assume in other countries the standard is the King. If those wussies at Cnet would test the stick, they could see how it really drives. I had a 1.8T Jetta, which is a rather small and light car, and I gotta say without any doubt that Mr. Fit is much peppier. The only difference I've seen is the inability to get quick response acceleration when I'm already at highway speeds, but I don't want a 12mpg truck with an engine the size of my entire Fit....just so I can pass someone on a rural two-lane highway and add myself to the list of fatalities.

 

Cnet should never review automobiles. NEVER! They even did a review on the Speed3 and never once mentioned the engine once!!! Only the navigation system, speakers and crap. Pisses me off! Well, its not surprising. The average American buys a car based on how many cupholders the car has!!!! This just goes to show how ignorant the average American automotive consumer is!!!!
