Help... Found this on my tire today

Was filling up the tires and found that the rear driver tire was at 20psi.... i Normally do 36.5 front and 35 rear, so i filled it back up and it doesnt seem to be leaking air.... Last time I checked it was a few weeks ago and I have no idea when I hit the nail

Question is does the tire look fixable?? Would it be okay if I drive 6-7 miles to work then to the tire store tomorrow?

Sorry for the newbie Qs but I dont have much tire knowledge at all....

Thanks

Looks repairable to me. If It can't be plugged (which it looks like it can be), it can be patched on the inside.

Yep, you're good... It can be plugged most likely. A couple of months ago, with only about 4000 miles on my car, one of my tires took a screw at the top of the sidewall (can't be fixed). Took it to the dealer and luckily, they had one tire in stock. Guess I should have gotten that tire warranty...

You're lucky it's a screw and not a nail. It should hold very well - but you'll still want to take care of it soon.

Tire is repairable with pull through repair plugs. Had it been in the outer rib would not be advisable.
