New Here/ EPS Heavy Question.
Hi all, just bought a new fit, well Jazz as it's called in the UK, anyway, i have just installed a set of 16in alloys and the steering has gone a considerable amount heavier, tbh i like it as there seems to be a better feel to the steering the thing i'm worried about is wether or not the new wheels will damage the EPS.
So, have any of you guys experienced this problem when moving to larger wheels. Cheers.

probably not. The electronic power steering is there to help you while ur going at slow speeds but when ur at highway speeds or even the street, power steering doesn't do much. That's why people pull out the power steering system in many older civic's and corolla's because it's really not necessary when you are going fast, it's when ur standing still you have to use some muscle. =]

When i went from my stock 15's to some gram light 17x7.5 the steering was a lot heavier.... im back on stockers now so im not worried about damage to the eps system. but i would like to know what the word on this is.
