Chrome exhaust tip

Im looking at just keeping the regular exhaust for now...but would like to get the OEM chrome exhaust tip. I was looking at a Sport model the other day and noticed that the rear lip covers the exhaust pipe pretty well....I was just wondering if this tip would be worth getting...would you actually see it? When standing behind the car...you cant see the muffler/pipe. Thanks again.

I would get the HFP Axle-Back instead of the little exhaust finisher, the Sport exhaust looks better and makes a good sound!

save your money. nothing looks more depressing than a drooping
chrome pipe. it's either bone stock, or axle-back/cat-back.

im probably getting the medallion touring.

I bought the factory tip and it is pretty much invisible I think. Save your $20.

I got the finisher and it does look better than the pee shooter that is on there I have posted a picture. I would love to get a new exhaust but worry about my warranty.

Awesome! Haha, I could barely see the pea shooter with the lip in the way...at least you can see the tip with the lip there. Thanks for the pic.

The choice of getting the exhaust tip is similar to the choice of getting a Mugen mirror cover – both do absolutely nothing to enhance performance but they both look better on your Fit.

I do like the look of the tip. For $20 some odd dollars, it's probably one of the cheapest mod you can do to your Fit.

yes u can..only thing Honda says its for the M/T only its because of the increase in the noise it produces for the Automatic models.

still havent heard one automatic with one of those exhausts. A while back, when i started visiting these forums there was a post about the HFP exhaust..the guy even posted the measurements of the noise in both transmisions. Itll be hard to find that post though

increase in drone and too much loss in back pressure
(loose more low-end torque) maybe?

Might be. What you say got some logic, but Im still aint sure. Someone with more knowledge in exhausts functions/what not's could help out more in clarifying why it cant be mounted in the A/T...maybe it's still just the increase in sounds and they(Honda) prohibit the instalation in the automatic to prevent problems with customers and laws in their state.

OEM exhaust trim:

I purchased this from a Honda dealer in the US on ebay. Honda don't sell the OEM exhaust trim here in England.
