Fit (JDM) No. 1 Seller in November
Japan Automobile Dealers Association has just released the ranking and unit volume for the Top 30 passenger car sellers in Japan for the month of November 2007. The new Fit was No. 1, with 18,138 units registered, followed by the Corolla (15,348 units) and the Vitz (Yaris) with 12,716 units registered.
Honda's monthly sales target for the Fit in Japan is 12,000 units. So far, so good. The Suzuka line for the Fit is running night and day, with no days off.

Just as a proviso which I should have included above, the numbers cited by JADA do not count the kei class cars. As some of you may know, the true No. 1 passenger car seller in Japan has been the Suzuki WagonR, which is a 660-cc micro-micro-van.
But in the "regular" class, the new Fit won the monthly crown. Let's see how it will compete from this point forward against the Toyota alliance of the Corolla and Vitz (Yaris).
