Wow, the Fit is really picked up some steam from last year. Only selling 200 cars less than the Versa and 100 less than the Yaris, the Fit keeps getting closer and closer to overtake the number one spot as the most sold subcompact car in a month. Great news for Honda.........I wonder if this is when Honda is limiting allocations of Fits to North America? Bleh, trying not to get too geeked out with numbers.
For my selfish needs this isn't good news.....what if Honda sees no reason to bring out the new Fit becuase of the strong sales of the current Fit?

The current gen Fit is "rare" anyway as far as production numbers, so for Honda to bring the (in Japan) MY08 fit to North America in 09 will make it a little bit more exclusive, but for a >$16K car, I'm not sure it's that big of a deal.. It might be for some collector of B-cars 25 to 30 years from now...

Honda Fit: Though it originally launched with the slogan “the Fit is go,” Honda’s B-segment subcompact was not go in April, as it dropped 60.5 percent at 3202 units sold. Starting with the 2014 model year, U.S.-spec Fits will be made in Mexico.
